Kaden's 2 Yr Old Pictures

Today Kaden took his two year old pictures. The blazer that he is wearing has been in the Williams' family since Kaden's Grandpa was a little boy.

First Day of Preschool

Today was Kaden's first day of Preschool. We can't believe how fast time has gone and now our little munchkin is off to new adventures. Kaden was excited to arrive at preschool and was dancing in the parking lot before going into the school.

One last pause before going through the big doors and starting a new chapter in his life....preschool.

Kaden started playing with the toys in his classroom right away. He was a little slow to join the other kids in storytime and chose to play independently for awhile. He loves pushing strollers and found a baby doll to part take in a ride.

This is one side of Kaden's classroom. Daddy was taking video while Mommy was taking pictures.

Kaden's classroom continued. One of his teachers, Miss Laura, was reading a story. His other teacher, Miss Adrianna, is not pictured.

During circle time, Kaden guessed the right object on the flashcard that Miss Laura showed them. He was very proud that he got to hold the flashcards that he recognized.....the airplane and the choo choo.

Kaden danced to the music while he was pushing a vaccum and baby stroller.

At 11:45 it was time to pick up Kaden from his first day of school. His new friends stay at school all day so they were starting to eat lunch while Kaden enjoyed a glass of milk.

Kaden is proud of his very first art project, a handsome hat. It was his first time using glue and he used LOTS of glue.

Preschool Open House

Kaden's preschool held an open house. This was the first time Kaden saw his new school. He was shy and a little unsure when he first met his teachers. We stayed for 45 minutes and Kaden played in his classroom.

Kaden did so well at the Open House that we decided to get ice cream that evening. He picked rainbow sherbet. A perfect treat before bed.

Cup or Cone, I can't decide.

Arboretum

On Sunday we went to the Arboretum. It was a beautiful day. We explored the children's gardens where they have frog ponds and streams where the kids can waddle. We also went on a tram ride that toured the Arboretum. We learned about trees, plants and bugs. Kaden really liked riding on what he called the chooo chooo.

Zen

Kaden's favorite position to sleep? Belly down lotus pose. Look at how his feet are positioned!

Rainy Day

Today was a rainy summer day, but Kaden made the most of it by putting on his raincoat and playing in the rain.

Kaden's 2nd Birthday

Today Kaden celebrated his second birthday with all of his friends. They had fun playing in the pools, castle jumper and the sand and water table. It was a Shrektacular day!

All the kids had fun playing pin-the-tail on Donkey. Mikey McClain won!

Kaden liked his Shrek cake and Gingie cookies. Special thanks to Uncle Dan and Auntie Li-Hui who sent all the Shrek party supplies to make the party complete.

After a summer filled with birthday parties, it was Kaden's turn to blow out the candles. He was very excited.

Cantigny

Today we celebrated Cousins Gina's and Frank's 30th wedding anniversary. A surprise brunch was held for them at Cantigny. After brunch everyone walked the grounds and enjoyed the beautiful day. Kaden and Jordan had fun exploring Cantigny park.

Hugs are the best, especially when they are from a pretty girl!

Fourth of July

This year we participated in our neighborhood 4th of July parade. The parade starts at a nearby park and goes past our house. We had Mia, Poppie, and Grandma Joyce spend the night before. We got up, had some breakfast and then decorated Kaden new tricycle that he got from his Grandma and Grandpa. Kaden had fun riding in the parade but wanted to stop as soon as he saw everyone in front of our house.

Mary and Grandma Joyce anxiously awaited the parade.

Kaden and Poppie had fun playing with each other and catching bubbles.

Kaden enjoyed all the candy that was thrown during the parade.

Grandma Joyce had fun watching the parade and part taking in the fun too!

Blackberry Farm

We went to Blackberry Farm today. It's a park that displays how a farm town operated long ago. In addition to some exhibits, there is a merry-go-round, a pony ride, hay ride, and train. Kaden wasn't thrilled with merry-go-rounds last year, but LOVES them now.

I had fun riding the pony and liked petting his mane.

Mike and Jill's Wedding

Mike and Jill looked so great on their wedding day.

I had so much fun being the ringbearer. I was really a good boy too. I walked down the aisle with Mom and didn't make a peep during the ceremony.

A little too much in my sippy cup and the day was done. I had a great time at Uncle Mike and Aunt Jill's wedding.

Fun at the Zoo

Our day of fun at the zoo started at the petting zoo. Kaden liked brushing the goat.

We thought it was funny that the goat was eating Daddy's shoe.

Mmmm, Just finishing a yummy lunch.

Someone tell me that this gorilla isn't real!!!!!

We were all tired at the end of the day, but had a lot of fun at the zoo.
