Disney on Ice

Kaden and his friend Andrew were lucky enough to see Disney on Ice. We had terrific first row seats and enjoyed a great show!

Gina and Diana were so excited to have an afternoon date with their boys!

Kaden was so excited when Mickey Mouse drove out! He is his favorite!

The boys loved seeing Lightening McQueen!

No show would be complete without snacks. Kaden enjoyed a hot dog with lots of ketchup!

Kaden and Andrew stretch their legs and watch the show. They were such big boys to sit through all two hours!

Big Boy Room

January was a very exciting time in the Williams' household. Kaden ditched his old digs and moved into his very own big boy room. He LOVES it!

All of Kaden's artwork he makes at school is displayed in his very own "Art Show". Thanks to Uncle Mike and Aunt Jill for the great Christmas gift!

Winter Wonderfest

The holiday season came to a close by attending the Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier. The Pier is transformed into a wintery spectacular scene. There was rides, attractions, ice skating and food. Chris and Kaden had fun decorating their own sugar cookies. Daddy what's that in your mouth?????

Kaden's favorite attraction was the Choo Choo Train.

The sights within the Wonderfest were very beautiful and a great way to end the holiday season!

Kaden was having fun checking out the wintery scene.

Kaden stopped running around the ice chalet long enough to get in a quick family snuggle.

Having a blast with Daddy....wheeeeeeeeeee!

Hanukkah 2008

We are so fortunate to have met two wonderful families that just moved to the U.S. from Israel. This winter season they hosted a Hanukkah celebration for all of their friends. We had a great time learning about their traditions, eating some wonderful food, and watching the beautiful lights illuminate the room.

We enjoyed watching the candles being lit and hearing all the Hanukkah songs.

The lights were beautiful and Kaden had such a good time......even though he kept singing Happy Birthday and tried to blow out the candles!

Christmas 2008

Our holiday fun began the Friday after Thanksgiving with the Grand Illumination in downtown Naperville. There was a parade, ice sculptures and entertainment. Kaden had a great view of the parade thanks to Daddy!

The Christmas season kicked off with a family holiday party at the McClain's house. Kaden had fun playing with all of his friends. He especially liked sharing some holiday treats with his friend Cezanne.

After hosting the family party, the McClain's were gracious to host a party just for Mommys and Daddys. We had a great time. Pictured here are all of the ladies. The guys thought it was funny to put the Ho, Ho, Ho sign in front of us!!!!!

Shortly before Christmas, we were lucky enough to have breakfast with Santa Claus at the Naperville Community Center. There was a yummy buffet, musical entertainment, crafts and of course, pictures with Santa. Kaden had fun playing jingle bells.

Mommy listens to Kaden's performance!

Daddy, Kaden and Mrs. Claus

Santa had Mommy sit on his lap and try to convince Kaden not to be shy.

Kaden finally warmed up to Santa and gave him a big hug!

Kaden and his friend Michael relax in a warm tub on a cold winter's night.

Kaden's class hosted a very special holiday sing-a-long. Kaden was a bit more interested in playing with the trains than singing songs.

Kaden is in the closet......literally. Sneaking into Mommy's purse is very fun!

On Christmas Eve, Kaden picked the very best cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer.

Kaden had so much fun on Christmas morning. He didn't know which toy to play with first!

We were so happy to be together to enjoy a nice Christmas dinner
